Refund Policy

1. Overview

Thank you for choosing Alphacent Inc. We want you to be fully satisfied with our services. This Refund Policy outlines your rights and our obligations regarding payments for digital infrastructure services.

All refunds are processed in accordance with Kenyan law and our service agreement terms.

2. Deposit Policy

A deposit is required to commence any project. Deposits are non-refundable unless we fail to deliver the agreed scope of work within the specified timeline.

The deposit secures your project slot and covers initial setup costs, domain reservations, and resource allocation.

3. Cancellation Before Work Begins

• If you cancel before we begin work, your deposit will be refunded minus administrative fees (KES 2,500 or 20%, whichever is higher).
• Domain registration fees and third-party service costs are non-refundable once purchased.
• Refunds for cancellations before work begins will be processed within 14 business days.

4. Cancellation During Project

If you cancel during an active project:

• You will be charged for all work completed through the cancellation date.
• We will deliver all completed work within 7 days of final payment for completed portions.
• The deposit is retained as compensation for time and resources committed.
• Refunds for work not yet completed will be prorated based on deliverables remaining.

5. Digital Goods and Services

Domain Names

Domain registration fees are non-refundable once the domain has been registered. Domains can be transferred to another registrar after the standard 60-day lock period.

Hosting Services

Hosting fees are billed monthly or annually in advance. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial months.

Completed Deliverables

Once deliverables are approved and signed off, they are considered accepted and non-refundable.

Stock Assets and Licenses

Third-party licenses (stock photos, templates, plugins) are non-refundable and non-transferable.

6. Subscription Services (Alphacent Care)

• Monthly retainers are billed in advance and non-refundable for partial months.
• You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
• No refunds for used or partially used services within a billing period.

7. Service Interruptions

If we fail to provide services as agreed for a period exceeding 7 days without cause, you may request a pro-rata refund for the affected period.

8. Requesting a Refund

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to hello@alphacentinc.com within 30 days of the event prompting the request.

Refunds are processed within 30 business days of approval. Refunds are issued in Kenyan Shillings via bank transfer or M-Pesa to the original payment method.

9. Exceptions

The following are not eligible for refunds:

• Services already rendered or delivered.
• Third-party costs already incurred (domains, stock assets, plugin licenses).
• Change of mind after service commencement.
• Requests for revisions beyond the included scope.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting to our website.
